The Project's Welcome Book is now available and can be downloaded here.
This eight-page booklet is a summary of the Project and Practices. Please share it freely with associates, colleagues, friends and family members; introducing them to the project and answering questions they may have before becoming involved.
The lighthouse is the Project’s symbol, may it also light the way for others.
This booklet is the group effort of Michael, Sandra Murphy, and John Carlson; along with help from the US Board, friends in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Romania. It features the lovely design work of graphic artist, Paul Miyamoto, a former Board member and a good friend of the Project. |

Meet Michael Murphy
A leader in the early hospice movement in America, Michael has been guiding workshops in love and loss, internationally, for many years. |
 |
Levels of Being
There are 4 levels of being. The highest level is Self-Awareness by Human Mortals. |
 |
Workshops
Michael's workshops are practical, experiential and inspirational. |
 |
Mortal
The physical aspect of our nature that is born and dies. |
 |
The Blog
The blog features a wealth of reflections by Michael and others, as well as eloquent, heartfelt Letting Go testimonials from people who have lost a loved one. |
 |
Soul
The soul is our feminine, witnessing, and loving nature. We look for others to love us, but when we are connected to our Soul that is our wellspring of self-esteem, we will find that the love we need most comes from within.

Dzogchen Beara
Michael holds some workshops at this Buddhist Monastery on the Beara Peninsula in Ireland. Here the wild masculine Spirit of nature is so much in evidence in the clouds and the wind, and the earthy, moist feminine Soul of nature bids us welcome in this Irish place.

Spirit
The spirt is our masculine guiding nature that creates a safe place for Mortal and Soul. We search for an external father figure or Guru to guide us in how to live our lives, but when we are in touch with our Spirit, we will discover that the greatest source of guidance and safety comes from within. |
